The Wallboard program runs on the computer that drives the screen. It has no login of its own: it shows what the server assigns to this computer via a wallboard.
Setting up
The installation package places the myContactCenter Wallboard shortcut on the desktop; in the Start menu, under ilogixx GmbH › myContactCenter › Configurators, there are the entries Wallboard and Wallboard Configurator. The configurator starts by itself at the end of the installation and asks for up to two Dispatchers on the Set registration points page. Through them, the program finds the currently active server — see System architecture.
The settings are in the settings file of the program — see also Wallboard in the Installation chapter. Only one Wallboard runs per Windows session.
Display
- Until the data has arrived, the window shows “Loading displays and filters”.
- The window title shows the version, the server and the display element that is currently visible.
- After the Display cycle time, the program switches to the next display element; language and color scheme change with it.
- The program calculates the values itself: every second and additionally with every change the server reports — always for the display element that is currently visible.
- At the first start, the window is maximized; after that, it opens in the size and position last used. With Full screen only in the wallboard, it runs borderless and in the foreground; then close it with Alt+F4.
- If a message arrives, for example a license warning, a bar with a red icon appears at the bottom.
If the connection is lost
If the program loses the connection to the server, the displays disappear and it shows Try to connect with the time since the interruption. It asks the registration points in turn for the active server and logs in again — also after a switch between master and standby.
If a second Wallboard logs in with the same computer name, You are currently logged in elsewhere. This is not supported and you will be logged off. appears there, and it closes.
Licenses in operation
Each logged-in wallboard takes licenses for the elements that its display elements contain:

The features for labels, tables, gauges, charts and multiple display elements are contained in the packages Package: Wallboard Entry to Package: Wallboard Premium; browser and image do not belong to any package, see Features. If a license is missing, the program hides the affected elements or only shows the first display element, and wallboards and Administrations receive the message License Warning — The following licenses are missing: with one line per missing feature. The licenses are released when the wallboard logs off. With licensing by profiles, wallboards do not need a license.
On a terminal server, each session takes its own licenses.
