The main window of the Administration consists of the ribbon at the top, the navigation pane on the left, the workspace on the right and the status bar at the bottom. An overview with a diagram is on the chapter page.
Title bar
The title bar shows the product and the version of the Administration. On the right, there are two icons:
- Info opens the Information window with the manufacturer, the product, the version of the Administration, the Release date and the Serial number of your system.
- Help opens this manual in the browser, as does F1 in the main window and in the dialogs.
Settings tab
This is where all commands of the Administration are. They apply to the selected server.

The Servers and Database groups appear as soon as you are logged in to the selected server.
Surface design tab
Here you choose the appearance of the Administration from a gallery of skins and color palettes. The choice applies only to you on this computer; the Administration restores it at the next start.
Making a server active or passive
In standby operation, exactly one of the two servers is always active. With these buttons, you switch over manually:
- Make Server Passive appears on the active server. All agents and wallboards are logged off; in hot standby, the partner becomes active by itself.
- Make Server Active appears on the passive server. All agents and wallboards are logged off the partner and logged in to this server.
Before switching over, the Administration asks for confirmation; OK switches over, No cancels. On a single server without a standby partner, these buttons do not exist. You need the Online state configuration permission with Change for them and must also be allowed to change parts of the server configuration.
Language
Under Language in the Servers group, you find Deutsch, English and français. After you select one, a message points out that the new language applies after a restart. OK closes the Administration; then start it again. Even with Cancel, the new language applies from the next start.
The language applies only to your Administration on this computer. It has nothing to do with the languages in which conversations are distributed.
Using preview features
Preview features are new functions that are still being tested. The Use preview features switch turns them on for the whole system — for all administrators and all agents of this server. It takes effect immediately and without confirmation.
Currently, they include the AI functions for texts: in the editor of the boilerplates and in the email replies of the agents, the context menu then offers AI text transformation — More detailed, Shorten, Summarize, Explain, Change tone, Proofread, Change style, Translate and Custom request. The functions require a configured connection to Azure OpenAI. Agents get them the next time they start the Agent; see AI assistance.
Navigation pane
The navigation pane shows one entry for each added server and, below it, the areas of the configuration. Clicking an area shows its list in the workspace; you expand and collapse groups with a click. The navigation pane can be collapsed into a narrow bar, and you change its width by dragging with the mouse.
The areas only appear after login, and only those for which you have at least the See permission. If your permissions change, the Administration rebuilds the navigation pane immediately.

Workspace
The workspace shows the list of the area you have selected in the navigation pane. For a server or a group, it shows the company logo. How to work in the lists is described in Lists and dialogs.
Status bar
On the right of the status bar are
- the Zoom slider: it enlarges fonts and icons in the navigation pane, lists and menus from 100% to 300% and snaps in at 200%. The setting is saved.
- the information area with the exclamation mark: it collects all messages — see Messages and errors.
