Shapes
The shared display selects the image according to channel and properties:
| Symbol | Meaning |
|---|---|
| telephone conversation; also the fallback for channels without their own mapping in this display | |
| telephone conversation marked as threatening | |
| chat | |
| email that was not created manually | |
| manually created email | |
| fax |
The general email channel image uses a closed envelope; the conversation display distinguishes incoming from manually created email. Individual modules and commands may use different shapes.
State colors
Telephone, chat, email and fax use the same color selection, shown here with a telephone image:
| Symbol | Color | State |
|---|---|---|
| Red | waiting (Waiting) |
|
| Blue | alerting (Alerting) |
|
| Green | connected (Connected) |
|
| Orange | on hold (OnHold) |
|
| Gray | all other states |
Gray is a fallback here. It includes inactive, ended, dialing and special email processing states. Gray alone indicates neither an error nor the specific processing phase. Read the item’s state description for that information.
In this shared display, a red conversation image means waiting. Messages use separate error symbols; see Commands and messages.
