A display element is a designed screen page: a layout of elements with their formulas, plus filters, language and color scheme. You find the list under Wallboards › Display elements; it shows Name, Description, Color scheme and Culture, and the header counts them, for example Wallboard displays: 4.
Commands

Duplicate, Export and Import only transfer the layout with elements, formulas, colors and images — not description, language, color scheme and filters. Set these again after the import or in the duplicate. A duplicate or import is only saved with Save in the designer.
If you delete a display element, the server also removes it from all wallboards that contain it.
Templates
The Administration comes with 15 ready-made display elements as templates,
in the folder %ProgramData%\ilogixx GmbH\myContactCenter\Wallboard Templates
— among them overviews with tables and charts, simple indicators for waiting
conversations and the service level, and tables for agents and skills. You
load a template with Import and then adapt it.
The designer
The designer opens in a window of its own; the Administration remains usable, and several designers can be open at the same time. It has four tabs:

Save — also with Enter — transfers the display element to the server; Cancel or Esc closes the designer. With unsaved changes, it asks Save wallboard layout. Customize layout at the bottom left offers further settings of the design surface, for example to hide or group elements.

When changes take effect
When you save a display element, the server immediately sends it to all running wallboards that show it; they rebuild their display. When saving, the display element records which types of elements it contains — this determines the licenses a wallboard takes.
